Account Manager

REPORTS TO:  VP of Operations

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Account Manager's primary focus is to field all day-to-day current account activity along with coordinating project work, collecting client assets, generating project estimates, and participating in the solution development creative process. The Account Manager is the primary point of contact for the client once the order is received to ensure deliverables are on-time, on-target and on-budget.

 

Additionally, the Account Manager works as an inside partner to the Strategic Account Executive who manages the client relationship at an executive, strategic level. The Account Manager supports this initiative by conducting research, gathering accurate information, assisting with marketing and sales material development, and attending client meetings as requested.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY:

The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate knowledge of the following:

• Act as the liaison between the account executive and production teams, and between clients and production.

• Manage multiple projects at once (10+). While some are small and immediate, others are complex and on-going.

• Participate in project kickoff meetings and coordinate approvals at every project stage.

• Assist in the development and/or review and updating of project creative briefs, project contracts, statements of work and purchase orders for accuracy.

• Provide ongoing communication regarding project status or budget issues to internal team members.

• Gather necessary information and material from clients and/or other team members.

• Inspect all materials and documentation for compliance to specification and standards before their release.

• Lead project estimate generation process (internal and externals costs).

• Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and/or adapt processes, policies, and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, speed, quality, etc.

• Participate on client calls, taking notes to capture key points and action items.

• Screen incoming opportunities to assess qualification, project scope and determine proper routing.

• Support business development initiatives.

• Create effective internal partnerships to ensure client needs are met and projects stay within scope, budget, timeline, quality, and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Media, Advertising, Marketing or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 3+ years experience as an Assistant Account Executive, Account Executive, or Account Manager in an advertising agency or equivalent responsibility for project coordination/management.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; ability to quickly learn new software applications.

• Experience in the digital media, social media and emerging technology industries (preferred, but not required).

Environmental Graphic Designer

REPORTS TO:  Creative Services Manager

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The EGD should possess a passion for design - composition and materiality, typography and color theory as well as strong three-dimensional visioning skills that can be translated into beautiful and implementable signage and environmental graphics solutions. This individual will be involved in the strategy, design and development of a variety of project types, from wayfinding programs to branded environments, with the goal to create positive and connective experience with places. Flexible schedule with ability to travel is a requirement of this position. Job could also require international travel. Employee will also act as an agent for the Company and is empowered to make limited business decisions on behalf of the company after consulting with management. Employee is a member of a team environment and will be asked from time to time to complete other duties not specifically listed above.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsibilities of the Environmental Graphic Designer include, but are not limited to the following:

• Conceptualize and develop environmental graphic design elements for a variety of project types.

• Design and manage multiple projects as a Project Lead, or member of a collaborative creative team.

• Collaborate with other team members to integrate technologies

• Facilitate the successful completion of projects that stay on schedule and on budget

• Coordinate with vendors & fabricators to ensure final product is as intended to ensure client satisfaction.

• Provide clear, concise written and verbal communications to client, design team and suppliers — from strategy and concept presentations to team guidance and instruction.

• Collaborate with other team members to integrate technology solution into environments for trade shows, events, retail and architectural spaces

• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines, handle multiple projects

 

OBJECTIVES:

Push the limits of experiential design for immersive environments and experiences

• Develop strategic creative based upon client needs and objectives

• Work directly with the Creative Services Manager to ensure all projects fall within the allocated hours for content creation. Measured by percentage of projects falling within budget

• Develop design intent documentation for way-finding, signage and environmental graphic projects that achieve high-level understanding of the visual intent and how programs should be implemented

• A strong desire to learn new skills as the opportunities or the need arise

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Working knowledge of the commercial interior architecture and/or design industry

• Expert knowledge of working drawings and procedures

• Understanding of branding concepts and the potential for their application (relationship with and integration) into the built environment

• Advanced sketching, drawing and rendering skills

• Skilled visual sense and understanding of typography, composition, multiple media platforms, legibility, standards development, documentation, fabrication and implementation

• Intermediate MS Office and Adobe PDF application skills

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

• Experience in 3D Modeling using Sketch-up, 3D Max or Maya or other 3D visualization program

• Excellent verbal, graphic and written communication skills

• Proven ability to work collaboratively

• Comprehensive project and relationship management skills

• Strong conceptual thinking, including the ability to present ideas and concepts to others

• Strong understanding of audio visual and IT technologies a plus

• Must have a philosophy that is consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of the organization

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

•Minimum of an Associate Degree in Graphics, Industrial Design or Interior Design field (Bachelor’s Degree Preferred), with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience

• 5-7 years’ experience with 3D/2D graphics, signage, interactive design, industrial design and 3D design/visualization

• A post-graduate portfolio that demonstrates experience with various aspects of Environmental Graphic Design work within an established design/branding or in-house studio (including but not limited to wayfinding strategy, conceptual design, design intent drawings, etc.)

 

 

Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Employee will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of awarded projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.  Employee shall complete all assignments in a timely professional manner consistent with accepted industry standards and time frames agreed upon for each project.  Employee will also act as an agent for the Company and is empowered to make limited business decisions on behalf of the company after consulting with management.  Employee is a member of a team environment and will be asked from time to time to complete other duties not specifically listed above.  This position will require travel, based on project needs and location of install.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY:

• Lead the planning and implementation of large-scale museum, visitor center and trade show exhibits, including project planning and budget responsibility

• Assembling RFQ’s

• Implement and manage project change orders and interventions to achieve project outputs

• Work closely with General Contractors and Fabricators to ensure we remain on budget as well as on schedule.

• Develop full scale project plans to include defining project timelines, tasks and resource requirements

• Assemble and coordinate project staff.  Provide direction and support to project team throughout project implementation.

• Manage project budget and resource allocation

• Work directly with the Subcontractors as needed to ensure all project installations fall within the allocated hours.

• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools

• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders

• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions to include project evaluations and assessment of results

• Maintain a 24 hour response time to all client related issues.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• This position requires a strong knowledge of Project Management, preferably with experience in large-scale museum, visitor center, trade show exhibits and construction, including project planning and budget responsibility

• Minimum of 2 year degree in Business, 3 to 5 years of applicable experience to include:

• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management

• Proficient in project management techniques, software and tools

• ‪Thorough knowledge of wood working techniques, equipment and shop fabrication.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

• ‪Ability to read drawing and prepare related technical specifications.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

• Strategic creative thinking is critical to success of this position.

• Ability to work in fast paced environment with tight and demanding deadlines

• Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Successful completion of PMP certification, currently utilizing that structure.

• Capable of multi-tasking.‬‬
